This Twinkle Star Kit contains all the fabrics needed to complete the top plus binding for this 38″ x 38″ quilt.
Border and outside rim of the large star is a gorgeous batik with lots of blues: aqua, turquoise, some clay and lighter neutrals, but overall it reads aqua/teal (not like in the photo). The star features other players as well: a caramel light neutral print, a light aqua background, and a center teal print. The spikes are dark teal. GORGEOUS!! Fabrics will be labeled and ready to cut!
Twinkle Star by Judy Niemeyer is a great introduction to paper piecing and the “Judy” technique of organizing and systematic cutting of your fabrics. Techniques include precision piecing a diamond star, the traditional NY Beauty Block made easy, and sewing the quilt together in quadrants.
