Fork Pins are a huge help when you are matching intersections like Half Square Triangles, where you want the points to exactly match.
Use one pin to match point to point, then attack the matched points on both sides at once with a Fork Pin. It is two pins joined together with one pin head! No chance of the points moving because you stabilize both sides at once.
I use them for HST as well as matching seams of rows of blocks. It is so much easier!
